What you should know before a pilot

No. They are native plugins installed on top of Moodle without touching the core, so they do not compromise platform upgrades.

With the provider you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or DeepSeek), paying per token for actual usage, with no fixed per-student licences or mandatory monthly fees per plugin.

Yes. Each plugin works within Moodle roles and permissions: the AI only accesses what the user's role is authorised to see.

No. For assessment questions it switches to a Socratic mode that guides the student to reason and look in the course material.
